Maine Coons are choosy cats that are also look-conscious. They are obsessed with cleanliness and you can’t match their standard. They love water and can enjoy it all day. There are two breeds – one is known for brutal appearance and build and the other is known for its silky, lustrous hair. Maine Coons are the largest domestic cat breed.
Munchkin Cat

The origin of the name Munchkin cats have two conflicting tales and its origin is therefore unknown. The Munchkin breed arose from a genetic mutation. They are found in various shades and colors and have different leg lengths. They are easy to train and remain the size of kittens throughout their lives.
Sphynx

The Sphinx contrary to popular belief isn’t hairless. They are in fact covered in a coat of down. So even though the exposed skin-like appearance might not seem appealing at first they are in fact very soft to touch. They are four degrees warmer than most cats and require baths once a week due to the lack of fur. However, they do require a lot more food than most cats.
Oriental Shorthair

The Oriental shorthair is considered the smartest of all the cat breeds. They are very apparent about their need for attention and serve as great entertainers and are hypoallergenic as well.
Selkirk Rex

The Selkirk Rex is a breed with highly curled fur. They easily adapt to their atmosphere however they don’t like people holding them. This is another breed that craves attention so socializing without touching is important.
