Well, being a creative isn’t easy. It’s easily tougher than any job you might have ever known. Why? Because specs. Don’t know what it means? It means to do free work to get work. Yes, you heard it right. Creatives ‘have to do’ the work to show their clients that they ‘can do’ the work, before the clients decide if they ‘want to pay them to do it’. That’s like recruiting a cadet soldier by asking him to kill an enemy and then deciding if you want him in the army or not. Funny…right?
